Dear mommy and daddy,

I am so cozy in here right now with a lot on my growing mind. It seems that the world I am entering is full of great promises and hope but there is also a lot of concern over our planet and the health and well-being of us little ones. It doesn't look like the planet is the place it used to be where we could roam free in the fields without worries about pesticides and other toxic chemicals. I thought I could help you along a little bit on what we wee ones need so that you can protect us once we arrive in your arms. Our next Red Tent event is coming up next Friday, Nov. 14th @ 6:30pm!

The book describes how valuable this was in empowering mothers to be familiar with birth, know what to expect, how to support each other, and to rest in being supported. It offers a beautiful possibility of women being nurtured and celebrated for their sacred role in the miracle of life, in good times and especially, in challenge.

I had my first child in 2003 via a cesarean section. I thought I was ready for her birth. We attended the hospital birth class. I read everything I could get my hands on. I did not plan on a cesarean. But I agreed to an induction at 41.5 weeks. From there, I agreed to intervention after intervention that ultimately led to the cesarean. While I loved my new baby, it was difficult recovering from the surgery and I had lost all faith in the process of birth. Read more
